WSU Vancouver business and engineering students are paired with a mentor from Boeing PDX who can provide information about the aerospace industry, opportunities at Boeing and general career guidance. Since its inception, Boeing employees have mentored more than 100 students in business, engineering and communication majors Advising Sheets. Mechanical Engineering Mechanical engineering, in combining a variety of disciplines like physics and materials science, is concerned with the development, application and management of machines. With the planning and development of machines themselves, mechanical engineers often work on issues related to energy, which include low-cost energy conversion from natural resources and managing. The Entrepreneurial Faculty Ambassadors (EFA) was established to recognize and support outstanding accomplishments and initiatives in innovation and entrepreneurship at WSU.
